A woman's sun-soaked vacation takes a sinister turn when she meets a picture-perfect couple whose son bears a striking resemblance to a young boy who disappeared two years earlier.

A group of teenagers rent a house with a sauna for a party. Everybody is having a good time: dancing, singing, drinking, talking. The party ends and everybody leaves, but in the morning the housekeepers come to clean the place and in the dressing room they find a girl who is trying to find the button of her ripped up trousers.

During the heat wave, swimmers flock to a municipal pool. Rain or shine, as the days pass the place takes on a life of its own, and the lifeguards, while immature at times, shoulder considerable responsibilities.

He meets Chiara, a saxophone player, on a late night bus by swapping his case containing the cue with her one, containing the sax. The two fall in love, but in the meantime Francesco loses a big amount of money playing versus 'Scuro', the long-time Italian champion. His only chance to pay the debt is to win the Italian Championships.
